Morgan Wallen Turned Down ‘SNL’ Musical Sketch and Was Replaced by Joe Jonas

Morgan Wallen stirred up speculation after his abrupt 'SNL' exit. Sources say he also dropped out of a sketch and was replaced by Joe Jonas.

Wallen played two songs on “SNL” from his upcoming album “I’m the Problem.” The country star stirred up speculation after he abruptly exited the stage at the end of the episode, skipping out on the show’s hugs and goodnights protocol, and then posting on Instagram, “Get me to God’s country,” which was seen as a slight against “SNL” and the city of New York. “SNL” veteran Kenan Thompson was asked about Wallen’s unusual exit, telling Entertainment Weekly, “I don’t know what goes through people’s minds when they decide to do stuff like that.
