Morgan Wallen Foundation Donates $500,000 Worth of Musical Instruments to Schools Through ‘One Instrument at a Time’
The Morgan Wallen Foundation is aiding students across the country by donating $500,000 worth of musical instruments.
Donelson Middle School Band, led by teacher Laura Shepherd, receives multiple new instruments — including trombones, flutes, saxophones, keyboards, bass drums and more — from the Morgan Wallen Foundation and Mr. Holland’s Opus. So launching ‘One Instrument At A Time’ in conjunction with this tour was incredibly important,” added Kathleen Flaherty, executive director of the Morgan Wallen Foundation. “Partnering with Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation enabled us to utilize their expertise in securing quality instruments and identifying schools in local communities that need them the most.
