Morgan Wallen arrested after allegedly throwing chair off rooftop of Eric Church’s Nashville bar

Country singer Morgan Wallen was arrested Sunday night for allegedly throwing a chair off a six-story building at Eric Church's Nashville bar.

Arrest documents obtained by the outlet offered additional details, claiming that two officers were standing in front of Chief’s Bar — an establishment owned by fellow country star Eric Church — when a chair came down the six-story building and hit the street approximately three feet away from them. The clip was later obtained by TMZ, which led to the suspension of his record label contract, removal from radio airplay, and disqualification from the 2021 Academy of Country Music Awards. He also recently received a nomination at this weekend’s CMT Awards for Male Video of the Year for his song, “Last Night (One Record At A Time Sessions).” Jelly Roll took home the win for his track, “Need A Favor.”
