Morgan Wallen Addresses Arrest in Song for His Son: 'Don't Think Less of Me'


mistakes he’s made in the public eye — including his 2024 arrest — in a song dedicated to his son. Wallen, 31, released a snippet of a track titled “Superman” on Monday, February 24, writing via Instagram, “Been trying for a long time to write a song I loved to my son.

“Hear a song about a girl I lost / From the times that I just wouldn’t grow up / And when you ain’t a kid no more / I hope you don’t think less of me / I try to hide my falling short / But you’re gonna see.” Wallen, who shares his son with ex Katie “KT” Smith, was arrested in April 2024 after allegedly throwing a chair from the rooftop of Eric Church’s Chief’s bar in downtown Nashville. In December 2024, Wallen was sentenced to one week in a DUI education center plus probation eight months after he pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment without a weapon.
