Morgan Wallen abruptly walked off the 'Saturday Night Live' stage before the show's end on March 29, later sharing a social media post that said, 'Get me to God's country.' The singer appeared as the musical guest during the Mikey Madison-hosted episode.

At the end of the episode, Madison, 26, appeared next to Wallen on the Studio 8H stage, where she expressed her thanks to all who made the show possible, stating, "I had a wonderful time." A representative for Wallen did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment on Sunday, March 30. Saturday Night Live returns on April 5 with Jack Black as host and Elton John and Brandi Carlile as the musical guests.
