TV gardening legend Monty Don has cancelled a string of live shows after being rushed to A&E. The star explained he was "so sorry to have disappointed all those people who were going to come and see me" after being taken into hospital and put on a drip on Friday afternoon. The gardener - who is now at home recovering - had been scheduled to appear in Nottingham and the South West on his An Audience With Monty Don tour, which has sold out most of its dates.
