Monty Don returns to stage for first time after suffering mystery health scare

Gardeners' World star Monty Don has returned to the stage for the first time since he was rushed to hospital earlier this month and was forced to cancel six tour dates

Monty shared the exciting news with his fans on social media as he posted some behind-the-scenes snaps from his dressing room at the Regent Theatre in Ipswich and from the Cambridge Corn Exchange. Monty Don was forced to cancel six shows after a hospital dash (Image: Marsha Arnold/PA) Sharing two photos of the live music venue in Cambridge, he added: "Tonight it's Cambridge Corn Exchange - last time I was here was in 1977 to watch wrestling..." One of the images showed fruit, water and tea in his dressing room, reports the Mirror. The update arrives close on the heels of Monty confirming his recovery, capturing an image of frost encasing his Herefordshire garden and simply captioning it "Morning #gettingbetter."
