Monty Don admits 'I've not got endless time left' as he considers Gardeners' World future

Monty Don has been the face of Gardeners' World since 2003, but the presenter is keenly aware that he is now older than both his parents were when they died

Gardeners' World star Monty Don has admitted he "hasn't got endless time left" as he spoke out on slowing down as he gets older. Monty got his hands on his Longmeadow garden back in the 90s, confessing he "couldn't buy a parking space in London" for what he shelled out for the Herefordshire plot. He snapped up the property when the garden was nothing more than an abandoned two-acre field overrun with grass, nettles and brambles back in 1991.
