Monica Khan Joins Strand Entertainment As Partner, Head Of Digital
Monica Khan has joined Strand Entertainment as Partner and Head of Digita. She will lead the new digital division and spearhead creator management.
Khan joins after almost two and a half years at Spotter, a company that provides upfront capital to YouTube creators in exchange for licensing their back catalog of content. In her first week, she’s already signed clients including Sam Beres of Sambucha, a former Wall Street banker turned creator; Aaron Brown of Smokin’ and Grillin wit AB, a former welder turned barbecue master; and Marina Mogilko, the multilingual entrepreneur and content creator who shares insights on language learning, business, and life in Silicon Valley under the monikers of linguamarina & Silicon Valley Girl. Said Khan: “Over the course of my career I have developed a passion for empowering creators, bridging creative worlds, and creating opportunities that reflect how we consume content today.
