A New York woman is suing Disney after she was injured at the Typhoon Lagoon water park’s kiddie area, according to court records filed earlier this month.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A New York woman is suing Disney after she was injured at the Typhoon Lagoon water park’s kiddie area, according to court records filed earlier this month. “As a result of this incident, (Panetta’s) vacation was ruined, and she was stuck limping around applying bandages, salves and creams, and was forced to avoid swimming and enjoying planned visits to the parks,” the lawsuit concludes. Back in 2023, another woman accused the company of negligence after she suffered a “painful wedige” while riding on The Humunga Kowabunga — an incident that she alleged left her with major internal injuries.
