Mom Said She Drowned 7-Year-Old Daughter Because She Needed 'Time Alone'

This is just horrifying... A 33-year-old mother admitted to drowning her daughter because she needed "time alone," per police reports. The troubling story

The troubling story comes out of Nashville, Tennessee, where authorities say Brandi Elliott(pictured above) decided the only way to get her daughter to leave her alone was to kill her in cold blood by drowning her in a nearby creek. According to local outlet WKRN, Brandi told cops she was getting fed up when her daughter Piper was allegedly not giving her any “time alone” so she decided to take her to Drakes Creek in Hendersonville. In court Tuesday, the mother of one told the judge she struggled with postpartum depression after Piper was born but wasn’t currently under any sort of medical care.
