Sims reveals that these conversations resulted in a drastic change in her relationship with food, but she maintains that she had a lot of support from her parents through the difficult times. Sims admits that during the 1990s — after she'd dropped out of school at Vanderbilt to pursue modeling — she was struggling to find success because she didn't have that "one look" that was booking the jobs.
