Mollie King's BBC Radio 1 replacement announced as she preps for maternity leave


Former The Saturdays singer Mollie King announced she was expecting her second child with fiancé Stuart Broad in August, and will soon be heading on maternity leave

The 26 year old expressed his excitement and nerves about the new role on social media, writing: "I'm covering the one of the biggest show on Radio 1 for the next few months with the homie @matthewedmondson." The presenter was swamped with accolades from fans, as @paydrouk jumped in with the comment: "Massive congratulations is in order here, very well deserved." Mollie and Stuart shared this adorable snap when announcing the second pregnancy (Image: Instagram)Speaking to Women's Health UK about learning half-way through her pregnancy with Annabella that dad Stephen had a brain tumour, Mollie said it gave her an invaluable lesson.
