Moana 2 tipped to outperform Inside Out 2 at box office amid fan frenzy over sequel
Weeks ahead of its November 27 release, Moana 2 is predicted to thrive at the box office and 'could eclipse' the success of Inside Out 2, according to AMC Theatres CEO Adam Aron.
It comes after previous reports that the Moana sequel's first-day ticket pre-orders surpassed the year's record for animated movies, trailing Deadpool & Wolverine, Wicked, and Dune: Part 2. The upcoming second Moana film was announced this past February, with 23-year-old actress Auli'i Cravalho in talks to return as the beloved title character alongside Johnson's Maui.
