Moana 2 teaser trailer: Moana and Maui head out on an ocean adventure with Auli'i Cravalho and Dwayne Johnson back in their starring roles
The teaser trailer for Moana 2 dropped on Monday morning. Auli'i Cravalho and Dwayne Johnson are back in action in the sequel to the 2016 hit film.
Directed by David Derrick Jr., Jason Hand and Dana Ledoux Miller, and produced by Christina Chen and Yvett Merino, the all-new feature film opens only in cinemas on November 29, 2024. After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she's ever faced. Rounding out the post, Johnson reminded people that Thomas Kail will be directing the live-action version, and that famed Broadway star Lin Manuel Miranda is doing the music for the movie.
