It is Slama’s third feature after 2019 Netflix Original Paris Is Us and Roaring 20s( Années 20), which also premiered at Tribeca in 2021, winning the Best Cinematography. Slama signed both two feature films under the pseudonym of Elisabeth Vogler, taken from Liv Ullmann’s character in Ingmar Bergman’s psychological drama Persona. As with Slama’s previous work, the film was shot entirely on location in Paris, with production taking place during the Olympics, at a time when most shoots in the city were on hold.
