MK2 Films & IPR.VC Unveil First Joint Investment On Marie Kreutzer’s ‘Gentle Monster’
EXCLUSIVE: European sales, production and financing company mk2 Films and international fund manager IPR.VC have confirmed their first investment collaboration on Marie Kreutzer’s upcoming feature Gentle Monster, her follow-up to critically acclaimed historical drama Corsage. Kreutzer’s Gentle Monster, which is produced by Alexander Gehr and Johanna Scherz, will take the spectator on the unsettling journey of an internationally renowned pianist who moves her family from Munich to the countryside and uncovers life-shattering truths about her partner. It will present six films in Official Competition: Joachim Trier’s Sentimental Value, the follow-up to The Worst Person in the World; Kleber Mendonça Filho’s political thriller The Secret Agent; Mascha Schilinski’s haunting debut Sound of Falling; Hafsia Herzi’s The Little Sister; and Carla Simón’s Romería.
