MJ Lenderman Moves His Houseboat From the Himbodome to NPR’s Tiny Desk

MJ Lenderman performed four unplugged songs on NPR's Tiny Desk concert series, and announced a new slate of September tour dates.

MJ Lenderman stopped by the NPR offices to deliver an unplugged and chilled-out performance for the Tiny Desk concert series. For the performance, Lenderman and the Wind largely traded in their electric instruments for acoustic ones, giving the short set a feel more akin to the back porch sound of Manning Fireworks than their this-one-goes-to-11 live show. Lenderman will receive support from Canadian indie rockers Nap Eyes throughout the tour, while Cass McCombs will also be on hand for the gig in Los Angeles.
