Miranda Lambert is set to receive the Country Icon Award at the upcoming 2024 People's Choice Country Awards.
Jen Neal, Executive Vice President, Live Events and Specials, NBCUniversal Entertainment said of the singer: 'A tour de force in country music for more than 20 years, Miranda Lambert's groundbreaking albums continue to capture the hearts of fans around the world. While on Bunnie Xo's Dumb Blonde podcast earlier this month, Miranda explained that she has taken on the role of being a mentor for young new artists. She will be honored at the televised event which will be held at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tennessee on Thursday, September 26; seen in Texas in 2024
