Miranda Lambert will be honored for her career at the 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards in September

Lambert will be honored as the “Country Icon” during the Thursday, September 26, broadcast, which will take place at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. “A tour de force in country music for more than 20 years, Miranda Lambert’s groundbreaking albums continue to capture the hearts of fans around the world,” Jen Neal, the executive vice president of live events and specials at NBCUniversal Entertainment, said in a press release. Lambert will take the stage to receive the People’s Choice Country Award trophy two weeks after her latest album, Postcards From Texas, is released.
