Miramax Nabs Hot Spec 'Supermax' By David Weil & David J. Rosen
Supermax is a propulsive and twist-laden action thriller featuring a story that follows two FBI agents investigating a murder that’s taken place in the world’s most secure prison. Weil is currently adapting for United Artists and Conclave director Edward Berger the film about Evan Gershkovich, the Wall Street Journal foreign correspondent who was thrown into a Russian prison for a year on bogus spying charges. Rosen is the creator and EP of Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed, a new series coming from Apple TV+ starring Tatiana Maslany and directed by David Gordon Green.
