Mindy Kaling’s Netflix Basketball Series Adds 5 To Cast
Fabrizio Guido, Toby Sandeman, Chet Hanks, Keyla Monterroso Mejia and Roberto Sanchez have joined the cast of Mindy Kaling's Netflix series.
Fabrizio Guido( Good Burger 2), Toby Sandeman( Power Book III: Raising Kanan), Chet Hanks( Your Honor), Keyla Monterroso Mejia( Curb Your Enthusiasm) and Roberto Sanchez( Queen of the South) have joined the cast of Mindy Kaling ‘s Netflix series, set in the world of pro basketball, starring Kate Hudson. In the as-yet untitled comedy series, when a scandal forces her brother to resign, Isla Gordon (Hudson) is appointed President of the Los Angeles Waves, one of the most storied professional basketball franchises, and her family business. Her other credits include the major recurring role of Ashley on Abbott Elementary, as well as On My Block spinoff Freeridge and is in post on Amazon Studios’ Will Ferrell & Reese Witherspoon wedding comedy You’re Cordially Invited.
