Mindy Kaling praised friend Meghan Markle for being down to earth and shot down common misconceptions about the Duchess of Sussex
Kaling and Markle, 43, recently teamed up for Netflix’s new lifestyle series, With Love, Meghan, which will drop on the streaming platform on March 4. A trailer for the show features Markle rustling up a dish for Kaling in the kitchen of the home she shares with husband Prince Harry in Montecito, California. “I was on maternity leave with my daughter in March and April, and Meghan texted me that she was doing a show where she was going to cook for her friends,” Kaling told TIME.
