Kaling actually recalls her thought process while writing the scene, sharing, "I wrote that episode and I remember at the time, I was 25. While chatting with PEOPLE in September, Kaling shared she's started to hang onto all of her gorgeous red carpet outfits, because she now has someone to pass them on to.
