Mindy Kaling Comedy ‘Not Suitable for Work’ Ordered to Series at Hulu


Mindy Kaling is returning to Hulu, with the streamer greenlighting Kaling's new comedy series "Not Suitable for Work."

Per the official logline, the show “centers around five work-obsessed twenty-somethings striving for professional success and, if they have time, personal happiness in Manhattan’s most glamorous neighborhood, Murray Hill.” The two have previously worked together on the shows “The Office,” “The Mindy Project,” “Four Weddings and a Funeral,” “Champions,” “Velma,” and “The Sex Lives of College Girls.” Kaling is a six-time Emmy nominee from her time on “The Office.” She also shared in the Tony Award win for “Strange Loop” in the best musical category in 2022 as a producer of that show.
