Millie was born and raised in the village of Broadbottom just outside Manchester, and aged 11 she started drama lessons at Oldham Theatre Workshop – famous for nurturing Happy Valley’s Sarah Lancashire and Vigil star Suranne Jones, both of whom also cut their teeth on Corrie.
