Erik Singer, a prominent vocal coach, is defending actress Millie Bobby Brown, 20, amid a controversy surrounding the continuity of the accent she speaks with Balegde, who revealed he hails 'from a very small northern town' in England, agreed with Brown's explanation about her changing accent by sharing how he's experience a similar situation when he went to college in a different part of the country. The bulk of the backlash over her accent came after she appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on February 29, where one fan described her way of speaking to 'like a rich valley girl,' according to Page Six.
