As Miley Cyrus lays down the bricks on her next album, one iconic LP has stuck out to her as a source of inspiration: Pink Floyd ‘s The Wall. In her Harper’s Bazaar cover story published Wednesday (Nov. 20), the 31-year-old pop star opened up about her forthcoming ninth studio album — tentatively titled Something Beautiful — which she says she’s been working on with her boyfriend, Liily guitarist Maxx Morando, alongside visual counterparts in collaboration with director Panos Cosmatos. Calling the record “hypnotizing and glamorous,” Cyrus added, “It’s a concept album that’s an attempt to medicate somewhat of a sick culture through music.”
