Miley Cyrus reveals godmother Dolly Parton 'didn't love' some of her older songs, find out which ones
Miley Cyrus has revealed that her godmother and collaborator Dolly Parton wasn't a fan of her last musical era.
As Parton pushed to hear more new music during a car ride two years ago, Cyrus found herself pretending to have already written a pair of songs, even though she only had vague ideas for them. The Tennessee native enlisted songwriter Michael Pollack to help her quickly pen the tune, and she later presented it to Dolly, who once again pressed her for more music. It comes after last year the former Disney actress shared with Harper's Bazaar that Dolly took issue with her single Used to Be Young, which was included on her Endless Summer Vacation album.
