Miley Cyrus joked that she ‘malfunctioned’ during her controversial ‘Bangerz’ era while accepting her Disney Legend award
The actress and singer, 31, accepted her Disney Legend award — a Disney-esque hall of fame induction — at the company’s D23 fan convention in Anaheim, California, on Sunday, August 11, and spoke candidly about the years she tried to shake off her wholesome Hannah Montana image. Sorry Hannah Montana fans, Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus don’t appear to have the same tight relationship that they portrayed on screen for years. Billy Ray and ex-wife Tish Cyrus welcomed daughter Miley (born Destiny Hope) in November 1992.
