Miles Teller Remembers Late ‘The Godfather’ Producer Albert S. Ruddy


‘The Godfather’ producer Albert S. Ruddy died at age 94, Miles Teller offered tribute after portraying him in ‘The Offer’

RuddyBettmann/Getty Images Deadline confirmed on Tuesday, May 28, that Ruddy, known to friends as “Al,” died on Saturday, May 25, in Los Angeles after “a brief illness.” Leonardo DiCaprio, Meryl Streep, Sarah Paulson and more stars made their marks playing real people in movies and TV shows. He worked closely with director Francis Ford Coppola to adapt Mario Puzo ’s novel The Godfather for the big screen and won the Academy Award for Best Picture at the 1973 Oscars for his involvement in the film.
