Mikey Madison Passes On Role In Shawn Levy’s ‘Star Wars’ Film With Ryan Gosling

The Force isn’t strong with Mikey Madison! The award-winning actress has officially turned down a role alongside Ryan Gosling in Shawn Levy’s Star Wars film.

Levy himself is a rather controversial director and, given both Taika Waititi and Patty Jenkins’ Star Wars projects have yet to materialize, many assumed that he was just yet another name attached to build hype for a franchise that has no plans on bringing their promises to fruition. Though one tangible rumor did come out of it all from Jeff Sneider, who reported that Shawn Levy wanted her to join his Star Wars film alongside Ryan Gosling. While a shame, it does reveal that Shawn Levy is looking for a young actress to work alongside Ryan Gosling in the upcoming film, and that an official casting announcement may come soon.
