Midsomer Murders actor Neil Dudgeon, known for bringing life to the character of DCI John Barnaby, has expressed his worry over getting "too old" for his role in the popular ITV drama. Despite his initial joining of the show in 2011 being greeted with trepidation by fans who adored previous detective John Nettles, Neil has since carved a space for himself in viewers' hearts. Having starred in a whopping 50 episodes of the acclaimed British crime show, he admitted in a conversation with the Mirror that although he is not contemplating hanging up his detective hat anytime soon, age might eventually be a factor.
