"Everything Everywhere All at Once" Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh says there's never a guarantee that you get an Oscar nomination.

The debate around Oscar snubs exploded following the announcement of the 2024 Academy Award nominations, which now infamously excluded “Barbie” filmmaker Greta Gerwig and star Margot Robbie from the best director and actress races. Even Hillary Clinton weighed in on the snubs, sending Gerwig and Robbie a message over X that read: “While it can sting to win the box office but not take home the gold, your millions of fans love you. Martin Scorsese’s “Killers of the Flower Moon” picked up 10 Oscar nominations and acting bids for Lily Gladstone and Robert De Niro.
