Michelle Yeoh Explains That Awkward Handoff Of Oscar To Emma Stone
After a brief awkward moment, Emma Stone received her Best Actress Oscar.
That brief tug-of-war between Michelle Yeoh and Emma Stone during the Best Actress presentation apparently requires some explanation. Five former Best Actress Oscar winners, including Yeoh and Jennifer Lawrence, were on stage to greet this year’s recipient. But instead of passing it off, Yeoh kept a firm grip on it and started dragging Stone toward Lawrence, who in turn took it in a somewhat uncomfortable handoff scrum.
