Michelle Williams says it was 'horrible' living with Ryan Gosling while filming 'Blue Valentine' and pretending to be a struggling couple.
She continued, “We did these improvisations during the day, honestly, to figure out ways to annoy each other and to destroy this thing that we had made.” While it wasn’t originally in the production schedule, it was suggested that the costars take a break and live together after they struggled to shoot scenes where their characters were fighting. She went on to describe the experience as “horrible,” adding that it was completely against her instincts to make Gosling hate her.
