Michelle Trachtenberg's family remains 'devastated' 2 months after her death at 39 due to complications from diabetes mellitus
While her cause of death was initially deemed “undetermined,” the New York City Office of Chief Medical Examiner later confirmed to Us on Wednesday, April 16, that Trachtenberg died as a result of complications from diabetes mellitus. Director Casey Tebo told TMZ in March that the actress had written a screenplay based on the book Toy Monster: The Big, Bad World of Mattel. Us Weekly confirmed on Wednesday, February 26, that Trachtenberg was found dead inside her Midtown West Side apartment.
