Michelle Trachtenberg died from complicates related to diabetes, the New York medical examiner's office said.

The New York medical examiner's office — which did not perform an autopsy at the request of Trachtenberg's family — updated her cause of death based on lab test results Michelle Trachtenberg died from complications related to diabetes mellitus, according to New York City Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. The news comes after the OCME previously said the cause of Trachtenberg’s death would remain undetermined after the actress’ family declined to have an autopsy performed because of religious reasons.
