Michael Mosley's poignant last interview released by BBC in special tribute after tragic death

The final interview from renowned health expert Michael Mosley has been released by the BBC, following his tragic death after he went missing on the Greek island of Symi

The episode was recorded in the BBC tent at the Hay Festival on May 25 and viewers can hear Michael at his best - full of warmth, insight and enjoying his time with the audience and sharing some of his reflections on his life, career and the importance of family. Before the episode begins, medical doctor and presenter Chris Van Tulleken gave an introduction: "What you're about to hear is recorded a few minutes before I met up with Michael at the Hay Festival but what I didn't know was that it would be the last time I ever saw him." Expecting to see Michael returning from St Nicholas beach around 1:30pm, he was distressingly discovered by a local bartender days later, on Sunday, 9 June, following the alert signal by a camera crew and the town mayor.
