Michael Mosley search resumes as officials say they could find him 'within an hour'

Michael Mosley has been missing on the Greek island of Symi since Wednesday 5 June, and local authorities have thrown everything into the search to locate him

At around 6am on Saturday 8 June firefighters began trawling a 6.5km radius of rocky mountains, which is all surrounded by sea, according to Manolis Tsimpoukas, who organises searches for missing people on the Dodecanese Islands. The CCTV was shared by local site MEGA after being discovered by police who were "combing" the island of Symi, where the presenter was holidaying with his wife Dr Clare Bailey, a GP and author. He revealed the search dog was only able to work for an hour due to the temperature, and questioned how anyone could survive in the heat that reached 40C on the day Dr Michael went missing.
