Michael Fassbender Teases Return As Magneto After ‘Deadpool And Wolverine’

Did Deadpool and Wolverine push Michael Fassbender to return to the Marvel universe? The Magneto actor teases big things may be on the horizon.

Many fans were hoping that Michael Fassbender would have made a small cameo as Magneto in Deadpool and Wolverine given how heavily the film featured the Brotherhood of Evil. While Marvel was likely saving the biggest stars of their X-Men films for something like Avengers: Secret Wars, at the very least it seems Fassbender would be open to reprise his role in a potential sequel to Ryan Reynolds’ superhero triumph. While nothing in the Marvel universe can ever be certain, especially when it comes to X-Men actors making their return, odds seem good that Michael Fassbender would at least pick up the phone if he was asked to reprise his iconic role.
