One of the most gratifying facets of Deadpool & Wolverine, aside from its abundance of Easter Eggs, was its amassment of well-placed, cleverly-written cameos by characters from the 20th Century Fox Marvel filmverse such as Gambit, Blade the Vampire Hunter and X-23. Though Fassbender is busy with his family (he’s married to and has two children with actress Alicia Vikander) and his new George Clooney and Grant Heslov-produced Showtime series, The Agency, the 47-year-old actor, who portrayed Magneto in four of the Fox X-Men films, said he wouldn’t rule out a return as the master of magnetism. Deadpool & Wolverine was an absolute savage at the box office, clawing in over $1.3 billion worldwide and becoming the highest-grossing R-rated film of all-time.
