Michael Bolton is healing after brain surgery and still not taking anything for granted as a source exclusively tells Closer he’s grateful and happy he’s alive after the toughest 12 months of his life. The iconic 71-year-old singer told fans in January 2024 he had a brain tumor that would require surgery and extensive recovery time, forcing him to cancel all of his shows throughout 2024. “It is always the hardest thing for me to ever disappoint my fans or postpone a show, but have no doubt I am working hard to accelerate my recovery and get back to performing soon,” he added.
