Michael B. Jordan Says ‘We’re Still Working’ on ‘I Am Legend 2’ Script and ‘Getting That Up to Par,’ but He’s ‘Really Excited’ to Work With Will Smith
Michael B. Jordan says there is no filming start date yet for "I Am Legend 2" as the script is still being written.
Smith himself told Entertainment Tonight last month that the sequel is “looking good,” adding: “[We have some] really solid ideas… I think [Michael and I are] going to make it on screen together. Directed by Francis Lawrence, “I Am Legend” starred Smith as virologist Robert Neville, the sole survivor in New York City of a man-made plague that transforms humans into bloodthirsty mutants. At the Red Sea International Film Festival earlier this year, Smith confirmed that “I Am Legend 2” would utilize the 2007 movie’s alternate ending in which his character lived.
