Michael B. Jordan Is ‘Proud’ of Jonathan Majors’ ‘Resilience’ and Would Work Together Again After Majors’ Assault Conviction: ‘That’s My Boy’
Michael B. Jordan says he would work with his "Creed 3" actor Jonathan Majors after the latter was convicted of assaulting his ex-girlfriend.
It was a blow to his career, which had been skyrocketing at the start of 2023 with villain roles in both “Creed III” and “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.” Marvel quickly cut ties with Majors after his conviction, and Searchlight dropped the release of his Oscar contender “Magazine Dreams.” Jordan told GQ it was a “tough situation” to watch unfold. Jabbari described that as Majors attempted to forcefully retrieve his phone from her, she felt “a hard blow” across her head that resulted in bruising, swelling and substantial pain. Majors is now aiming for a comeback as “Magazine Dreams,” the Sundance drama Searchlight Pictures bought in a six-figure deal and then dropped after he was accused of assault, is now getting a March 21 theatrical release from new distributor Briarcliff Entertainment.
