Micaela Wittman & Arthur De Larroche Launch Indie Production Company Manic, Unveil Development Slate
Micaela Wittman and Arthur de Larroche on Friday announced the launch of Manic, a new indie production company with an eye toward YA, female-led fare.
The duo came to launch the banner following collaborations on the features Remy & Arletta and Clairevoyant, which saw Wittman star with De Larroche directing. Among them is Rager, an action horror pic centered on an elitist 444-year-old fraternity, which former Disney+ exec Sam Mannetti ( WandaVision, Loki) has signed on to produce. In a statement on the launch of his and Wittman’s new company, De Larroche told Deadline, “MANIC is a meaningful name because it takes an element of our creative process that can be seen as a flaw and turns it into our superpower, it represents our drive and passion for filmmaking.”
