Miami Dolphins’ Tyreek Hill Is Still ‘Shell-Shocked’ From Police Detention

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill spoke out after he was detained by police in Miami ahead of the Sunday, September 8, season opener

Hill was pulled over by police officers outside Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday, September 8, three hours before the Dolphins’ first game of the season. In 2016, Kaepernick sparked debates among both fans and fellow players when he didn’t stand for the national anthem before taking the field with the San Francisco 49ers. “Following the incident involving Tyreek Hill, I have initiated an Internal Affairs investigation to ensure a thorough review of the matter,” Miami-Dade Police Department Director Stephanie V. Daniels said on Sunday.
