Mia Farrow, who starred alongside Davis in the 1978 film Death on the Nile, shared in a discussion for Interview Magazine published June 3 that she found the memoir to be "a trashy book." "The sum total of your having written this book is a glaring lack of loyalty and thanks for the very privileged life I feel you have been given," Davis wrote, adding "I hope someday I will understand the title My Mother’s Keeper.
