Acclaimed Mexican actor Emilio Echevarría has died at the age of 80, it was announced on Monday by The Mexican Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences.
He is also known for the role of El Chivo opposite Gael Garcia Bernal in Alejandro G. Iñárritu’s gritty underworld film Amores Perros from 2000.
