Mexican singer Dulce La Cantante passes away at age 69 after health complications
Mexican singer Dulce La Cantante has passed away at the age of 69 following health complications, her family confirmed on Christmas Day.
'She had been suffering from lung issues and was on a strong medication regimen that worsened her health in the days leading up to her death, particularly due to kidney complications from intense treatment.' Updates were posted to her main Instagram account at the time, and the singer herself wrote, 'Dear friends, media, and supporters, I want to share that, upon medical advice, I am hospitalized for a health issue that needs care and rest.' She starred in the Netflix reality series titled, Siempre Reinas (Forever Queens), alongside Lorena Herrera, Lucia Mendez, Rosa Gloria Chagoyan and Olivia Collins.
